For her senior MSN project, Susan Clapp ‘15 conducted a needs assessment with residents of the Jefferson House, a low-income subsidized housing complex located near the College. The research concluded that LC students and faculty could help the residents live fuller, healthier lives. “A partnership between LC and Jefferson House would encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and provide a win-win situation for both,” Susan explained. “There is so much at LC. We could bring it all together and offer students unique learning experiences.” Read the full story in the fall issue of the Lynchburg College Magazine.
